Dr. Carrie K. York is a native of Seattle, has achieved various scholastic and professional accomplishments, and continues to learn and improve in dentistry techniques and patient care.
Dr. York graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1991, and then furthered her education by completing a one-year General Practice Residency, rotating through four Seattle hospitals. After her residency, she practiced in Seattle from 1992 to 2003, most of those years on First Hill in Seattle. Then, in 2003, she joined her former dentist, Dr. Rebecca Zerngast, to practice on Mercer Island.
Dr. York taught for many years at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, in the dental clinics where third- and fourth-year students care for patients. Dr. York taught in the dental school clinics since she was a senior in dental school, and has volunteered at the dental school in many capacities over the years.
Dr. York was inducted into the American College of Dentists, a national dental honorary professional organization, in October 2016.
